Free Listings Throughout July / Tour De France Rest Day

Yesterday was the first rest day for the riders at the Tour de France. This is a little later than normal with almost half the Tour over. So far it has been a real mixture of dull procession, crashes and finally very exciting racing. With the likes of Peter Sagan proving to be a very formidable rider. Especially as he is the youngest man in the field at just 22 years old, to our own Bradley Wiggins, who has shown how a rider can transform himself into a great all rounder and be in the perfect position at this stage of the race. He has got great team back up with Sky, although I still stand by what I wrote earlier about Mark Cavendish. Tomorrow I will continue with the Tour round ups.

Our big news this month is our Summer Holiday campaign. Starting from Saturday 14thJuly, for one month, you can advertise all your bikes and components for free. Just place your advert as normal and enter the word, Holiday into the discount / code section. This will give you your 21 day listing with up to 8 photos, absolutely free.  We spread the word with Twitter and Facebook too, so your adverts will go far and wide. Even if you are selling your bikes elsewhere you could still advertise here, and don’t forget that we take no aftersales commission, unlike many other sites, so you have nothing to lose.

We have been working hard to improve the website. We have added new categories to the forum. Some of these are becoming more popular, especially the one about your first bikes. It’s great to read about your fond memories of your bikes when you were younger. If you have some stories to tell please log on and share them with the other members, whether it’s about the good old days or if you want to share your favourite ride routes so others could enjoy them, we would love to hear from you.

If you are not a member, but want to join, then please come and sign up. It’s free and only takes a minute at

There has also been the addition of the daily blog, which is proving popular. At the moment it is being dominated by the Tour de France, with stage by stage reviews in simple terms. You can also look back to read all the posts so far.

If you have an event coming up that you want to tell the world about why not post it on the events board, it won’t cost you a penny and it will definitely raise awareness of your event.  Our membership numbers are growing daily, and you can talk to anyone through the messaging service. You can even search for members or events by distance. You may want to find someone to go riding with in your area or a local event that you can visit.

We are always looking to evolve and improve the website, to make it more interesting for you, so we welcome any feedback or ideas that you have.  You can contact us through the feedback section at the bottom of the home page.

We have a Facebook page that you can visit and like us, if you like us, and you can also follow us on Twitter.

Finally I would like to say thank you to everyone that has supported us so far, without you we would not be here, it’s as simple as that. We have had lots of really positive comments from people and we are committed to becoming an established and trustworthy website. With your continued support we can do this.
